Bevo’s is a Lafayette tradition as far as retail goes. The original location was opened in the mid 70's by Rosco & Dolores Babineaux and business partner Bevo Rome of Lake Charles (who decided to leave the retail industry in the early 80's). Son, Danny and his wife, Holly, continue as second generation business owners.The couple stays busy juggling the two Bevo's locations, two medical uniform stores (Scrubworx & Lafayette Bargain Store) and their five children Lilah, Nina, Holden, Phoebe and Everett! 

Holly Babineaux came into the family business when she married Danny Babineaux in 1994. Her love affair with fashion all began in the late 80’s when she worked as a print and runway model. The couple has handled the buying as well as the day to day operations, and continue to take the stores in new and evolving directions. While Holly loves the selling aspect of the business, her real love is derived from pulling items together to create looks. “The end result after a day of merchandising the store gives me such satisfaction! If there is one thing I have learned over the years it is that most women are mannequin shoppers. They need to see it put together.”
